Joy dreamt of the "job" she has today since she was a young girl.

She attended Paul Mitchell The School St. Louis where she studied Cosmetology. She excelled in advanced coloring and cutting techniques, also taking courses in Advanced Makeup.

Upon graduation, she applied at MAC Cosmetics at the age of 18 and was accepted as a full time artist.

She quickly transitioned into one of St. Louis' most sought out Makeup Artist. Her keen eye advanced her into a Succession Program with MAC. She was able to help train artists alongside her MAC Regional Trainer.

Within two short years, she accepted a promotion and became a manager for MAC where she coached and developed many teams of artists, all over Saint Louis. This is where she discovered her true love of teaching, and the business side of beauty.

In November 2017, She received a promotion and was transferred to Dallas, Texas to help design, manage and open the first ‘M.A.C PRO Store & Bumble and Bumble Hair Studio’ Concept store. 

The first store of its kind doing both hair and makeup services in one place. 

In late 2018, Joy decided to pursue her dreams of starting her own company.

She returned back to St. Louis, where she was able to start the process of building her own brand. She found great passion for Bridal Makeup, a service Joy had not ventured into prior to 2018. Currently, Joy has a built a team of incredibly talented artists and offers full service bridal services all over Missouri and beyond. She was voted top 3 in St. Louis Magazine’s ‘A-List Best Makeup Artist’; and is currently teaching makeup lessons to many local artist, and salons.

With almost 10 years of experience under her belt, she has been fortunate enough to have worked with thousands of clients of different ages, races and sexes.

She has worked with Street Scape Magazine, Miss Teen Missouri, Sweetie Pies TV show, Wedding Chicks, Kansas City Chiefs, Clayton Jewelers, JOYA Jewelry, Signature Bridal, Amika, The Pink Bride, ESPN. Joy works often with photographers like Jai Mayhew, Lauren Muckler and Joan Fisher.
